A Smithsonian exhibit celebrating sports is coming to Perryville! Mark your calendars! You won’t want to miss “Hometown Teams”.

The Perry County Historical Society is very excited to announce that they will be hosting a traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian Institute at the Perryville Higher Education Center from April 14th-May 20th.

The exhibit is called Hometown Teams and it explores how sports affect communities all over the country. In addition, they will have their own exhibit on Perry County sports to supplement this exhibit. To give you a sneak peak, each Friday the Perry County Historical Society will feature few of the items donated by local museums, schools and families on their Facebook page.
