The Perry County University of Missouri Extension Center is hosting a sixteen-session strength training program, “Stay Strong, Stay Healthy”, for middle-aged and older adults. This program is built on simple strength building exercises that will improve balance, health, and state of mind. No, it is not strenuous weight-lifting; you’ll start at a level that’s right for you. No one is too inactive to participate. Building strength promotes quality of life and independence, especially for adults over 50.
There will be two sessions held on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning on Monday, April 23, 2018 and continuing through Monday, June 18, 2018. The morning session will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. and the afternoon session will be held from 2:00-3:00 p.m.
